The 2019 Hosea’s Heart Ambassadors have returned from eSwatini ready to serve Hosea’s Heart for the year! Ambassadors travel to eSwatini for two weeks during January and then stay involved in Hosea’s Heart for the year, using their strengths to serve in America. If you’re curious how ambassadors serve Hosea’s Heart check out the Ambassador Information web page.

This year’s team led large and small group activities with the girls, provided tutoring, and helped coordinate a service project in which the girls served their own community. We are thankful for these three wonderful women of God who comprise the 2019 Hosea’s Heart Ambassador Team! Read below to hear why they are excited for the upcoming year.

Karalyn Zachary

“I am so excited to be an Ambassador for Hosea’s Heart because the Lord completely captured my heart for the people and place of eSwatini on my recent short-term trip there. I vividly saw God’s beauty in His creation- from mountains to zebras to fresh mangoes, and most importantly- His children. I consider those I met my bobhuti and bosisi (my brothers and sisters) and it is an honor to advocate for and share about the amazing things I learned from and with them.”

Karalyn’s teammates describe her as an encourager that always speaks truth. She always wants others to see the talents and strengths she sees in them and will be there to be help along the way.

Katlyn Miller

“I’ve always felt that I haven’t received a life calling as much as a life mantra. Much of what I do is done so that those I’m around believe the statement “let her feel loved, knowing she is accepted for who she is.” One of the sisters told me, on our last day in Swazi, that she felt deeply loved by me when I listened to her story and met her in her pain, rather than turning away from her. I’m so excited to be an ambassador because it allows me to continue to my relationship both with my new sisters and with Hosea’s Heart. I applied for this experience because I knew I would be able to stay in contact with the organization after I got back to America. Now that I have built relationships with so many people in Swaziland, I’m even more grateful that I get to be an ambassador for Hosea’s Heart!”

Katlyn is described as an adventurous learner! Her gentle and sincere attitude makes it easy to share your heart with her.

Liesl Allen

“Hosea’s Heart has changed my life. As a two-time ambassador, this being my third time, I can say matter of factly that Hosea’s Heart is building the Lord’s kingdom and doing it well. The redemption and love found within this organization for the girls it serves is something I want to ALWAYS be a part of and something in which I have found a FAMILY.”

Liesl lifts others up with her love. As this year’s Ambassador Trip Leader, she always had a smile on her face, ready to join others in their journey of faith or a game of basketball!
