McKenzie’s Dream for a Dream
My name is McKenzie and I am a junior in college. This past summer, I went on an ambassador trip to Swaziland, Africa with Hosea’s Heart. I thought that this trip would allow me to help young girls while also bettering my life. To no surprise, God had His own plan for my life, which was much greater than my own. He instilled a passion for these girls within me and I can’t imagine continuing my life without working to also make their dreams come true. I am so excited about the chance to achieve my dream of completing a half marathon this spring while using it to benefit so many other individuals. I can’t think of a better reason or better organization to give back to! I am looking for 26 sponsors to sponsor a half mile of my run on Sunday, April 9, 2016 in Waukesha, WI. If you would like to be one of my sponsors, you may contact me personally (14mlaurent@gmail.com) or donate through my gofundme page. All donations and support are appreciated. Every little but will make a tremendous difference in the life of these girls in Swazi.
